- Lucero Branding -

One of my old friends, Juan Obando, just so happens to be an accomplished New Media artist. When Juan got a job as an Assistant Professor in the SIM Program at MassArt in Boston, he decided to create a gallery space with MassArt scholar Julie Cangrand. The space, called Lucero, is meant to encourage a new generation of artists by showcasing contemporary work that bigger, less nimble galleries traditionally overlook.

For this project, I designed a custom logotype, glam rocker icon, and a reconfiguring constellation, all of which were based on the ideas of motion, the vastness of space and sky, and an uncommonly bright and enduring light.
